Promotion of Access to Information Act

The Promotion of Access to Information Act, 2000 (PAIA) is a freedom of information law in South Africa.

Clients will be provided with access to their personal information, including their medical records, held by the Practice, on request, unless the Practice may withhold such information or records on a ground stipulated in PAIA.

A request for access must comply with the procedural requirements stipulated in PAIA, which includes completing prescribed forms and paying necessary fees.
